These thin coats are made from vintage kanthas - a patchwork cloth made by hand by stitching old cotton sarees together. This beautiful embroidery craft evolved from the thrift of rural women in the Bengali region of India and also Bangladesh.

As with all our second-hand fabric creations these coats are all one-of-a-kind.
